Day 03 - Your views on drugs and alcohol.
Let's see. My view on this subject is that drugs and alcohol in general are stupid. Ok so that may sound very close-minded; however thats what I think. It may be because I've never really seen a point in the beneficial attributes of drugs or alcohol. Now for the smart alecks, I have no problem with medicinal drugs just with the abuse of drugs. As for alcohol, I was given a sip of beer before and it tasted absolutely disgusting, the same goes with wine. Seems like for me alcohol has no appeal and its doubtful that I'm going to acquire that taste.
Abusing drugs and alcohol obviously shows how one is hurt or missing something. Why else would you try to ease the pain with things that can help you numb your body or help you forget the day's events? I have no authority to say how hard it is or that I've been through something like this, but I have to say is that you can live life without either of these things. Want living proof, well here I am. Need more I've got two brothers who can back me up. And then from there I've got amigos a plenty who can further help my case.
Perhaps I misunderstand the view on people within the sphere of drugs or alcohol. Though I'm pretty sure that anyone stuck in that pit is afraid, a coward. Well that's my view narrow minded it may be, but thats what it is.
