Day 06 - Write 30 interesting facts about yourself.
Now this should be interesting in itself, hopefully I can get thirty out....
1. At this moment of time I have "bleached" hair though unfortunately due to my dark hair it looks more orange than blond.
2. I am technically a sheltered person, growing up I wasn't made aware of everything out in the world, but thanks to contained curiosity and good friends I don't seem to be too sheltered of a guy.
3. The person I consider to be my best friend is a girl, and growing up I had a larger percentage of girl friends than guy friends. May have been due to me being involved in a sport which is more girl dominant but hey call it whatever.
4. The sport I'm involved with swimming, I've been in since 1996. So doing some quick math thats lets see... 14 years and in my 15th year right now. Talk about a lot of time in chlorinated water.
5. I'm basically a nerd. More so in high school than now since I'm not uber smart. But the whole books thing and then watching anime and liking tech stuff yea that equals nerd does it not?
6. Speaking of anime the ones that I currently watch or have watched is in the following list: Bleach, Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, Inazuma Eleven, Full Metal Alchemist, IGPX, Shaman King, Gundam 00, and Prince of Tennis.
7. Oh and while we're on this subject I also read the mangas as well and boy does that help in my nerdiness.
8. I consider myself athletic though unfortunately I'm just an average guy who loves to be active. Not great at any sport in particular but get me outside and I'll do whatever. Tennis, ultimate, football, running, cycling whatever!
9. Now being "athletic" I am so compared to my brothers, though one thing I'm not is musical. That talent skipped me unfortunately and if I could change something I would so wish I had musical skills.
10. My destressers are cleaning and baking. At time running too.
11. I'm such a Twinkie. Yellow on the outside (Asian) and white in the inside (American/Caucasian/ whatever).
12. I am Korean, but alas cannot speak my own flipping language. Sad I know. Hoping I can change that *fingers crossed*
13. I have a bad tendency of judging people on the effort they put forth into a certain task. Something I'm working on.
14. Growing up I was essentially a type A person, still am, however one thing my mom helped me realize is that pride is my biggest flaw. Ergo my highest aim is to be humble and yea hasn't worked out as much as I hoped but knowing the problem always helps.
15. Mentioned that I liked to bake, well thats all thanks to my mother. One day I really want to have enough money to help her open up her own bakery.
16. I invest myself into certain people's lives too much. That comes to bite me in the butt at times. And you could call that being clingy?
17. Back home, I'm my swim club's team mom. I watch out for the kids, help them with anything, buy them food at times, and drive em around in the minivan. Yep got the soccer mom routine down pretty well.
18. Have successfully fit 8 people in my '95 Nissan Altima and gotten on the highway. Talk about pushing the pedal to the floor to accelerate!
19. I have always wanted a little sister. Yea didn't happen. Ergo I want a daughter when I'm married. Knowing my luck though I'll probably get stuck with all boys.
20. I tend to have rotten luck when it comes to goals. Always get to my goal a year too late. Though my mom considers it to be one my best strengths of not giving up and keep going even through failure.
21. Mentioned my mom a good many times. I'm basically a momma's boy but I'd like to say that I just have a good relationship with my mother. I can talk to her about a lot of things which is nice and all kids should be able to confide in their parents.
22. My favorite colors are White, Black, Crimson, Silver, and Navy.
23. So wish I could be more Asian. Martial arts moves, origami, fu manchus, monk outfits, those ridiculous accents. Yea I embrace my heritage/culture -_-
24. Never broken a bone in my body. Seems I have pretty good bones, but I've got a good amount of scratches from falling and what not. Also I scar pretty easily, probably something wrong with my skin, or I just don't take the best care of my wounds?
25. My music is pretty darn weird most of it is Christian but then it just goes to things like soundtracks to mainstream stuff to who knows at times.
26. I'm really not fashionable at all. I tend to dress with whatever I have. Kohls has come in clutch for me.
27. Best day alone inside for me. Peaceful music, a good book to read, and some nice hot Chai tea.
28. I went to elementary, middle, and high school in barn. No joke, the facilities I went to school used to be a farm and the silo and farm building are still there. The chapel is the old farm actually.
29. Favorite foods: Korean barbeque, steak, salmon, sushi.
30. I'm finishing this last fact with an enigma its 12:28 AM on Feb 13, 2011, but this post will go up saying that I posted it at 11:59 PM on Feb 12, 2011. Go figure huh?
Welps thats that. If you've gone down and read all this congrats. I'll steal one of my friend's lines in that if you've read all this you're worthy to be a stalker ;-)
